Color Designs
Here on this page, I used painting in order to make it convey a certain type of emotion. Color is considered to be a way of showing emotion and these are my designs.
The image on the left is the emotion nonchalant. I tried to represent the exterior and interior of a person in a way. The bottom to mid level of the painting displays a wave of emotions crashing together, to show how a person's feelings may occur in the mind. The top part is supposed to represent a calm feeling, which can be found on a person's facial features. This is to show that the emotions one is feeling is being prevented from coming out due to self control.

The second painting on the right is the emotion of compassion. I decided to create a harmony- like feeling with compassion, as a person would be able to understand one's suffering and is able to not only relate to it but to provide comfort as well.
The image on the left is the feeling of deception. Using the colors green, white, and black carefully, I placed a brighter version of green and white on the bottom to represent truth in a way. As the image goes up however, it leads to something darker. This image is used to show that a person is keeping the truth from someone else and instead of confessing, they lie.

The other image on the right is terror. I used the color black to create a sense of dread, of something or someone approaching and as the colors go downward, there's a sense of confusion and when it's finally on the orange, that's where the fear is.
This final design image is of joy. This one was a little tricky as I knew what colors would be considered joyful, that being yellow, blue, and orange. I eventually decided to do something a little simple and painted the colors on top of each other and have it in a way where they didn't conflict with each other, since the emotion joy isn't a troubling emotion.
For my final design choice, I went with the emotion nonchalant as I thought it was one of the more interesting pieces.
